According to WHO, 130 million people around the world are currently in need of assistance from disease outbreaks, and 400 million lack the access to essential health services. Investments, innovations, and a collaborative movement allows more self-reliance on one’s health and relieves pressure off of medical professionals in the most efficient manner. Self-care interventions can significantly lessen the numbers that have been recorded.
