Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), highlighted that Emirati women have become a role model in success and excellence, as evidenced by their rich record of remarkable achievements in various areas and sectors.
“Emirati women have effectively contributed to nation building with their innovative thoughts and projects,” Dr. Al Hashimi said in a statement on the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day celebrated annually on August 28.
She added the future will bear testament to the UAE and its wise leadership’s ability to early explore the future by harnessing all the financial potential and human resources in all fields and by devising plans, policies and strategies that respond to reality and its challenges to shape the country’s bright future.
“On the path towards the nation’s future, the Emirati leadership focused on the education sector by providing a stimulating and engaging learning environment characterized by the highest global quality standards that enable Emiratis to continue advancing the UAE society and driving forward its development process,” said Dr. Al Hashimi.
She added that Emirati women have proved their strong presence and left exceptional imprints in the country’s comprehensive development and showed great excellence and success in many prominent positions in education, politics, economy and sports.
“UAE women’s success has been manifested in holding ministerial positions and assuming senior leadership positions in addition to their leading roles in economic, sports, scientific and health sectors, among others,” Dr. Al Hashimi remarked.
She took the occasion to extend congratulations to the UAE leadership for their tremendous support and keen interest in empowering women, developing their capabilities and strengthening their status, particularly in the education sector.
Dr. Al Hashimi cited the great attention given by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah to education as a bridge for progress of nations and societies.
The SPEA Chairperson views the Emirati Women’s Day as a national occasion to celebrate success and achievements made by women in all spheres and appreciate their pivotal roles in sustainable development.
Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi paid rich tributes to Mother of the Nation, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, on the prestigious national occasion. She praised her unlimited support for Emirati women and her extraordinary role in empowering women as main partners in the development of the nation and advancing its status.
She also extended her special thanks and profound appreciation to Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, who has always been an inspiring role model for Emirati women through her outstanding initiatives and unique projects.
