Abu-Ghazaleh University College participates in Preparing and Submitting Project Proposals for Erasmus+ Program workshop

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has participated in the orientation workshop on ‘How to prepare and submit project proposals for the Erasmus+ program’, which is funded by the European Union. The workshop was organized by Khawarizmi University Technical College (KUTC) in cooperation with the National Erasmus+ Office in Jordan.

TGAUCI participates as a member of the Erasmus + program, and as  part of a series of practical scientific workshops that the University College periodically attends. Participants in such workshops are expected to learn how to write project proposals in a professional and scientific manner that keeps pace with global practices’ developments, in a mechanism that enables the University College to compete and to obtain funding for its future project.

During the workshop, participants were briefed on the mechanisms, conditions and criteria of writing and submitting proposals, and touched upon the Erasmus+ program’s priorities including green growth, digitization, innovation, women, youth, vocational and technical education.

Prof. Ahmad Abu-El-Haija, director of the Jordan National Erasmus+ Office, commended the role of all participants, pointing out that improving writing skills and managing future projects will contribute to providing an opportunity for members of the academic and administrative bodies, as well as students and the local community to develop their knowledge and skills by cooperating with the European partners involved in these projects.

It is worth mentioning that the Erasmus+ program’s top priorities include the digitalization of education, innovation and entrepreneurship in addition to technical education and social integration of the underprivileged groups. This also comes in line with the vision and directives of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAGUCI, in implementing educational and training programs, capacity-building, developing the skills and capacities of students and academic staff, in addition to promoting creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation in the fields of education and training.
